International streaming giant Netflix has begun to curate content, especially for their Indian audience. For this year, the platform has announced 13 new films that will be releasing in the digital space. The news was unveiled on social media through a montage of the films that were presented in the form of a promo.
The official Twitter handle of Netflix India revealed the film line-up promo with the caption, “PICTURES ABHI BAAKI HAI MERE DOST!

The line-up included Sonakshi Sinha‘s film Bulbul Tarang, Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey‘s murder mystery Haseen Dilruba, Penthouse starring Arjun Rampal and Bobby Deol directed by Abbas Mustan, Jadugar a sports comedy starring Jitendra Kumar, Karan Johar‘s anthology series Ajeeb Daastaans and Ivan Ayr directorial Milestone. Kartik Aaryan starrer Dhamaka and family entertainer featuring Neena Gupta, Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, Aditi Rao Hydari, John Abraham called Sardar Ka Grandson. Sanya Malhotra also has two projects lined up for release like Paglait and rom-com with Abhimanyu Dasani called Meenakshi Sundereshwar.
A lot of regional content was also featured in this movie line-up like Dhanush starrer Jagame Thandiram, Anthology film Navarasa from Tamil cinema, Marathi language movie ‘The Desciple’ that garnered critical acclaim at many international film festivals.
Well, one thing is for sure, despite being a tough year in the entertainment industry owing to the lockdown restrictions, Netflix didn’t suffer a setback and is ready to entertain its audience with loads of fresh content.
