Written and directed by Lucky Hansraj and produced by Komal Unawnay of Paper Plate Pictures, the film is slated to release on 25th August in cinemas.

Aanchhi promises to be a fun ride and a rare sneeze that will tickle your funny bones. It is a humorous yet meaningful story of a contract-rat killer who gets a new job but mistakes it for something else which changes the course of his life.

A well-known Ad filmmaker Lucky Hansraj, will be making his feature film debut with “Aanchhi” says, “The whole idea came up in the pandemic while the whole world was struggling for some or the other things. Being a creative person, I was frustrated staying inside four walls so I went to my farmhouse and then all of a sudden I developed this idea where my whole team supported me and our producer Komal backed us. Things started happening eventually and we shot Aanchhi during pandemic with all precautions. Talking about my actors all of them are thorough professionals. They were all fantastic with their part and have also won several festival awards. The film is like a sigh of relief and breath of fresh air.”

‘One Way Ticket’ film Producer Komal Unawnay shares on what prompted her to back this film. She says, “As I’m a film maker who has started from zero in this industry, there’s always a struggle for an individual producer to get actors. So my thought was to make our story – the hero and our writer-director came up with this really interesting story. I liked it and we immediately started working on it. It’s out and out comedy film where a miscommunication leads in to hilarious situations. All actors are from NSD and we got selected in more than 13 film festivals and won several awards in different categories. I believe now a days such relevant films connected to normal people are doing well than big star films.”

The film has previously traveled in many prestigious film festivals and has won several such as Caleidoscope Indian Film Festival of Boston, Indian Panaroma Film Festival, Los Angeles Comedy Film Festival 2021, 12th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival-22 and more.
