The poster for the awaited film ‘Major’ is out. The film is going to be a biopic on Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, an officer of the Indian army who served at the elite Special Action Group of the National Security Guards. He was martyred during the 26/11 attacks. The poster was shared by superstar Mahesh Babu on his official Twitter handle.
The film is being directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and will be starring Adivi Sesh in the lead role with Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murali Sharma in other important roles. The tweet along with the poster mentioned, “Happy to present the first look of #Major!! Wishing you a very happy birthday @AdiviSesh . I’m sure Major will go down as one of your best performances. Good luck and happiness always!”

The film ‘Major’ is going to be bilingual and is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi. The film is going to be produced by Sony Pictures Films India and GMB Entertainment owned by Mahesh Babu. It is scheduled to release in the first half of 2021.
