As the cinema halls have begun to run again with 100% capacity, multiple Bollywood films are being announced one after another. One of the films which will be releasing this year is going to be Attack starring John Abraham. The action thriller will be dominating the Independence Day weekend this year.
John Abraham confirmed the release date and also explained a little bit about the film on his Twitter handle. The post said,” ‘Attack’ – a taut, action entertainer with a strong storyline…a genre I love! In theatres, this Independence Day..Release Date- 13th August, 2021″

‘Attack’ is being directed by Lakshya Raj Anand and is inspired by real-life incidents involving a hostage situation. Actresses Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh will also be part of the film and play crucial roles.
Attack had gone under production during January 2020 and put to a halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is being produced by JA Entertainment (John Abraham’s production house), AK Productions and Pen India Limited.
