Goodbye: Ekta Kapoor announces new film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna

Popular producer Ekta Kapoor took to her Instagram to share that filming for a new movie titled ‘Goodbye’ has just begun. It will star veteran icon Amitabh Bachchan and south diva Rashmika Mandanna in key roles.

The schedule began yesterday and Rashmika has started shooting. Whereas Amitabh Bachchan is said to join the sets from 4 April. Ekta Kapoor shared some pictures from the ‘mahurat shot’ and expressed, “This is how it’s (hopefully) going! Finally working with the ONLY actor I’ve been waiting to work with…who I spent my childhood obsessing over @SrBachchan! What an honour sir/ uncle! Welcoming new beginnings with #Goodbye @SrBachchan”

Goodbye is being directed by Vikas Bahl (known for Super 30, Queen). As per the updates, the film will belong to the slice of life comedy genre and is set amidst the backdrop of a funeral.

Apart from this, Rashmika has another film lined up that will mark her Bollywood debut i.e. Mission Majnu with Sidharth Malhotra. Whereas Amitabh Bachchan is gearing up for the release of his film ‘Chehre’ which has been delayed yet again due to the COVID-19 spike.
