Ittefaq, a Red Chillies Entertainment and Dharma Production, is a remake of the 1969 film Ittefaq. The filmmakers have taken special precautions like #NoSpoliers initiative to make sure that the thrill for the thriller suspense remains intact.
They have gone has far as to do minium promotion for the film. Now the filmmakers revealed that the film will be released on Friday across the globe. It is natural for films to release a day early in the UAE on Thursdays.
But the makers are determined not to spoil the film for anyone.
Sonakshi Sinha even took to twitter to urge fans to support no spoiler’s initiative. She tweeted a video, saying “We have made the film with a lot of love and hard work, so please say no to spoilers”.
The trailer reveals, Dev (Akshaye Khanna), a police officer, is investigating a double murder case that has only two witnesses, who are also the prime suspects. The suspects – Vikram (Sidharth Malhotra), an acclaimed writer, and Maya (Sonakshi Sinha), a young homemaker, have different narratives about the events of that fateful night. Both the stories seem true but there can be only one truth.
Dev is torn between the two versions of the story, and will not settle till he finds out what happened that night.
Directed by Abhay Chopra, the film is scheduled to release in cinemas on 3rd November 2017.
