One of the most anticipated films to come out this year, Gangubai Kathiawadi just had its teaser released today. The film is being directed by the brilliant filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Needless to say, the project is going to be extravagant in every expect.
Gangubai Kathiawadi is going to be a biographical crime film starring Alia Bhatt. It will feature her as a ‘madam’ of a brothel in Kamathipura. As the teaser starts, you will be left mesmerised by the set designs and every frame. Leading lady Alia has looked her and casting her seems like the best decision ever as you are captivated by her dominant screen presence and valour.

The movie has been inspired by a chapter that was a part of Hussain Zaidi’s book titled ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai’. Celebrated actors like Vijay Raaz and Seema Pahwa will also feature in the film. Whereas stars like Ajay Devgn, Hume Qureshi and Emraan Hashmi have guest appearances.
Gangubai Kathiawadi is headed for a theatrical release on 30 July 2021.
