The teaser of the upcoming anthology film series titled ‘Ajeeb Daastaans’ just got released. It is headed for a release on the international streaming giant, Netflix. A total of 4 stories will be a part of the film which as the title of it suggests, will be strange in nature, with unexpected twists.
Noted filmmaker and producer Karan Johar was the one tho shared the teaser through his social media as he is one of the producers along with Apoorva Mehta. While explaining a little about ‘Ajeeb Daastaans’ he said, “It’s here… A collaborative effort, yet uniquely individual. Presenting #AjeebDaastaans with 4 exceptionally talented #DirectorsOfDharma, coming together to weave 4 individual stories that are stranger than reality itself”. Filmmakers like Neeraj Ghaywan, Raj Mehta, Shashank Khaitan and Kayoze Irani have helmed their stories for the series.
The stories will feature an ensemble cast of Fatima Sana Shaikh, Jaideep Ahlawat, Armaan Ralhan, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Abhishek Banerjee, Inayat Verma, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shefali Shah, Manav Kaul and Tota Roy Chowdhury.
All the stories featured in Ajeeb Daastaans might vary a lot but are connected by one aspect i.e. moral dilemma of what is considered right or wrong. It will begin streaming on Netflix from 16 April 2021.
