A brand new trailer for the film ‘Durgamati The Myth’ released, starring Bhumi Pednekar it is going to be an official Hindi remake of the Telegu film called ‘Bhaagamathie’ which had Baahubali fame, Anushka Shetty, as the leading lady.
The film is being made for the Hindi speaking audience by G. Ashok, who is the same director who helmed the original Telugu film as well. By the looks of the recently released trailer, the Hindi version ‘Durgamati’ looks like the frame by frame copy of the original Telugu film. The costumes along with the locations have also been kept the same in the remake. Although, better visual effects were present in the new trailer.

Like many releases, ‘Durgamati The Myth’ is also headed for an OTT release on Amazon Prime Video. It will follow the life of an IAS officer, Chanchal Chauhan (played by Bhumi Pednekar), who gets possessed by the ghost of ‘Durgamati’. The film will star other actors like Arshad Warsi, Jisshu Sengupta, Mahie Gill and Karan Kapadia in the crucial watch. It will make an interesting watch in terms of performance.
It will hit the digital space on 11 December 2020.
