Upcoming sequel of the Dostana franchise i.e..Dostana 2 has been the most talked-about film that is being produced by Karan Johar’s production house, Dharma Productions. The film has found itself making headlines once again after makers announced that they will be re-casting.
On the Twitter handle, Dharma productions uploaded a post that mentioned, “ Due to professional circumstances, on which we have decided to maintain a dignified silence-we will be recasting Dostana 2, directed Colin D’Cunha. Please wait for the official announcement soon.”

Prior to this, the rumour mills had kicked into high gear as there was buzz that one of the protagonists i.e. Kartik Aaryan won’t be doing the project anymore. Dostana 2 was announced in 2019 by Karan Johar who had revealed that Kartik Aaryan, Lakshya Lalwani and Janhvi Kapoor will be starring as the leads. As per the recent statement, the new cast for the film will be made public shortly.
