The trailer for Hansal Mehta’s social comedy ‘Chhalaang’ recently dropped. It features, stellar actor Rajkumar Rao in the lead role. Known for his versatility, he will be seen essaying a comic role in the film. He has already proved to the audience that comedy is definitely his thing after giving an amazing performance in films like ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, ‘Stree’ and so on.
In the 3 minute trailer, Rajkumar is seeing playing the character of a PT master who does his job just for the sake of it. His life takes a drastic turn when a new and better sports faculty arrives and his job is at stake. What will he do when it all comes down to saving his job or fighting for his honour?

Helmed by Hansal Mehta, the director has splendidly captured the issue of most schools not giving enough value to the quality of sports education within the school curriculum.
The film will also star Nushrratt Bharuccha, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Saurabh Shukla and Vaibhav Choudhary in other prominent roles. It will release on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video during the time of Diwali i.e. 13 November 2020.
