A few months ago, it was announced that renowned director Nag Ashwin is making a big-budget multilingual project which will feature south superstar Prabhas along with Deepika Padukone. Today it was made official that the legendary veteran icon Amitabh Bachchan will also be starring in the upcoming film.
The production house, Vyajayanthi Movies, which will be backing up the ‘yet-to-be-named’ project shared a short snippet on their social media to confirm that Amitabh Bachchan will be one of the leads in the film. The caption said, “Welcoming with a full heart, the pride of a billion Indians. The Amitabh Bachchan. Our journey just got BIG-ger!” The announcement clip also contained quick snippets of the star from the various roles has portrayed in his career.

Big B is currently back on the sets of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ as a host. He was last seen debuting into the OTT platform through his film ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ with Ayushmann Khurrana. He will also share screen space with Alia Bhat and Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Brahmastra’, which is being directed by Ayan Mukerji.
