Mumbai: Actor R Madhavan has come up with a unique way to promote his upcoming film, Tanu Weds Manu Returns on his Twitter account. The actor has asked his fans to record videos mouthing a popular dialogue from his movie in their mother tongue. The actor will personally pick the winner of the contest.
The theatrical trailer of Tanu Weds Manu Returns has been receiving great response from the audience, who couldn’t stop raving about Kangana Ranaut’s dialogue uttered by the actress in Haryanvi. Considering the humongous response to the trailer, Madhavan has asked his fans on Twitter to create videos of them saying the same lines as Kangana but in their mother tongue. The actor has asked them to post these videos online.
A source informs, “Madhavan will watch all the videos and select the funniest one as the winner of the contest and has decided to give the winner a surprise gift. The actor is expecting some hilarious videos.”
Madhavan informs, “The overwhelming response to the trailer prompted me to run this contest in languages other than Hindi and Haryanvi. It’s been hilarious. I will declare the winner soon.”
