After the success of the first film ‘Khuda Haafiz’ that released on the OTT platform of Disney+ Hotstar, the sequel has just been confirmed and will be released on the silver screens.
The film was based on an incident from real life. It was centred around a newly wedded couple who plan on going abroad for better opportunities for them in terms of work and career. The story picks up when the wife, Nargis suddenly goes missing and her husband Sameer tries to look for her.
As per the updates, the second instalment titled ‘Khuda Haafiz Chapter II’, will not lead to further films and will be the last sequel in the series.

Khuda Haafiz had Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi as the leads. Other prominent characters were played by Annu Kapoor, Shiv Pandit, Ahana Kumra, Nawab Shah, Gargi Patel and so on.
It is said that the shoot for the sequel will begin during the first few months of 2021.
