Mumbai: With release just round the corner Meeruthiya Gangsters team leaving no stone unturned to promote their film. Apart from all India city tour the makers launched their second song on Wednesday which is sung by one of the most energetic singer, Mika Singh. Singing sensation Mika Singh’s club number ‘Mastam Mastam’ looks all set to top the music charts.
‘Mastam Mastam’ is the second song released in the album after the title track of the film, which also was a lively number complementing the story of the film. The trailer of the film has generated significant buzz already having grossed over 1 million views in less than three weeks.
Director of the film Zeishan Quadri said, “ Mika Singh was the first choice of our entire team for this club number. There is no doubt that Mika Singh is a rockstar. He has delivered numerous hits over the years and enjoys a massive popularity. There couldn’t have been anyone better than Mika to voice this peppy number as the composition of the song perfectly suited his voice.”
Shoeb Ahmed, Producer of the film, from Prateek Entertainment stated, “As the release is coming near and we needed the right song at the right time so that the buzz stays alive till the release. The combination of Mika’s energy and the vibrancy of ‘Mastam Mastam’ will definitely impress the audiences and bring them to theatres.”
The music has been composed by Siddhanth Madhav and lyrics of the song have been penned by K Juneja.
‘Meeruthiya Gangsters’ is a film based on a bond of friendship shared between these six guys in Meerut and stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Mukul Dev, Sanjay Mishra, Aakash Dahiya among others. It is presented by Prateek Entertainment and Anurag Kashyap.
The Film is releasing all over on 18 September.
