Mumbai: Actress and international artist Priyanka Chopra who made her Hollywood debut with Disney’s Planes where she interacted with several biggies from west ,also created a splash on the international music scene with her first 2 singles “In My City” feat Will.I.Am and “Exotic” feat Pitbull – The actress who has a power-packed month and is on a choc-o-bloc scheduled,flew down to the States for the 15th International Indian Film Academy Awards where Bollywood celebrated the actress at Tampa Bay .
Priyanka Chopra had the honor of walking the green carpet with Hollywood veteran John Travoltra of Saturday Night Fever and Pulp Fiction fame, who was awarded the “Most Popular All-Time International Star in India”. Priyanka who is a global icon with her music and philanthropic commitments ,was chosen to accompany the Hollywood veteran as he was honored at the prestigious award function. At the event, Travolta spoke in glowing terms abt Priyanka’s second single ‘Exotic’, which had created a splash on the international music scene.
Says a source, “It was a huge compliment coming from John Travolta especially since he too is looked upon as both an actor and a musician given that he has sung in his own films including the musical cult entertainer Greece.It was a huge moment for Priyanka ‘s work to be acknowledged amidst her own fraternity”.
If that wasn’t all, the actress also hosted an acting master class along with Hollywood heavyweight and Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey of American Beauty and the Usual Suspects fame-The two actors were part of a panel that created a great platform for knowledge exchange in the world of film and media. To Priyanka’s great delight, Spacey expressed an interest in working with the diva in a film!
