Mumbai: Famous singer Ankit Tiwari has swept almost every Best Playback Singer award of the season. With Arab Indo Bollywood Awards (AIBA) being the last, Ankit can now rejoice in the fact that the year gone by has been an awesome one for his career.
The new age composer-singer has bagged two AIBA awards held recently at Dubai’s Meydan Racecourse on May 29. Ankit won Best Composer and Best Playback Singer for Galliyan from Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain.
Beginning this year, Ankit also bagged Filmfare award for Best Playback singer for Galliyaan which is still going strong at the music charts. Ankit says, “It has been a wonderful year. I would like to thank the audience and my fans who supported me all through the year and appreciated my work. I will certainly strive to perform better and impress them with nice compositions.”
