Taking ahead is legacy, his son Bhushan Kumar, has ensured T-Series continues to produce devotional music in various languages. T-Series today released the modern rendition of the powerful Hanuman Chalisa composed by Bharat Goel and sung to Sachet Tandon and produced by Bhushan Kumar on T-Series YouTube channel today.
On one hand, Sachet, who has given several commercial Bollywood hits like Bekhayali, Mere Sohneya, Ghamand Kar, the powerful composer – singer recently won hearts for his last release, a devotional song – Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram. Hanuman Chalisa, originally written by poet Goswami Tulsidas in the 16th Century, Shri Gulshan Kumar featuring Hanuman Chalisa that released many years ago recently became the most viewed devotional song with more than 1 billion views that was sung by Hariharan and composed by Lalit Sen, Chander.
Giving an upbeat modern tune to a hymn that is known to ward off evil and danger and empowers one with the strength and courage to face any problem, Sachet Tandon says, “Devotional and spiritual songs always make us calm and helps us to focus. We all have been listening to Hanuman Chalisa since our childhood and moreover, we all must have listened to the T-Series version of it so even I used that version as a reference point for this one. T-Series has always believed in sharing devotional music with the audience and voicing a couple of songs for them makes me feel good.
