Mozez Singh’s coming-of-age musical drama, Zubaan, starring Vicky Kaushal of Maasan fame, will tonight open the prestigious Busan International Film Festival 2015 in Korea.

What makes this festival visit truly one to remember ,is that, this is the first time in the history of the biggest film festival in Asia, that an Indian film has been selected to open the festival.

The film produced by Guneet Monga, who is the darling of international festivals having introduced films like The Lunchbox, Masaan, Gangs of Wasseypur and Peddlers among others on a global platform and Shaan Vyas is already a subject of heated discussion and the country will truly know why tonight , on the festival’s opening night.

Last night, on the eve of the screening, director Mozez Singh, the starcast of the film Vicky Kaushal & Sarah Jane Dias and producers Guneet Monga and Shaan Vyaas were invited to a private dinner with the BIFF festival directors at the poshest restaurant in Korea,Yeyije.

Sources reveal that the festival directors were so impressed with the film that they took the Zubaan team out for a celebratory private dinner. ( Vicky Kaushal – sporting a Brooks Brothers suit and Sarah Jane Dias sporting a Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna creation) .

Earlier today , the festival organized a press conference for Zubaan, and it came as no surprise that the film’s leads Vicky Kaushal and Sarah Jane Dias kept it stylish in SSHomme & Lanvin respectively ,much like the stylized musical drama.
