Television actors Asmi Deo, Nausheen Ali Sardar, and Priya Thakur, stars of “Jagriti” and “Vasudha,” celebrated Christmas on the sets of their popular shows with children and women from the SNEHA (Society for Nutrition, Education & Health Action) foundation. The special event, held on December 20 and 21, brought festive cheer as the actors donned the role of Santa Claus, arriving with oversized gift bags and warm smiles to greet their guests.
The SNEHA foundation’s children and women were invited to the sets for a memorable meet-and-greet with the actors, marking a joyful celebration of Christmas. Asmi Deo expressed her happiness at being part of the event, saying, “It was an honor to meet them and share this occasion. The smiles on their faces were priceless. Christmas is about spreading joy, and I’m grateful to be part of this celebration.”
A festive-themed bus transported the foundation’s guests from their centers to the sets, where they experienced a magical day. Priya Thakur shared her feelings, saying, “It was an honor to meet these hardworking women from SNEHA. Zee TV and our show team organized this small initiative to make them feel special. It was a surreal experience.”
“Vasudha” tells the story of a young girl who works as a maid in a business leader’s house, while “Jagriti-Ek Nayi Subah” follows a woman from a marginalized community who challenges traditions to empower her people. Both shows air on Zee TV.
