A new song has been released from the upcoming movie Roohi starring Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma. It is a romantic number featuring the chemistry of Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor and has been sung by singing sensation Jubin Nautiyal.
The song starts off with Bhawra (played by Rajkummar Rao) giving Roohi (Janhvi Kapoor) a cauliflower as a token of his love. It is then revealed how he and Varun Sharma’s character kidnapped her from a market and have been keeping her hostage in a remote area. It is a slow-paced song with a soothing melody.

Sachin-Jigar, the composing duo has helmed the song and are responsible for the movie’s soundtrack. The lyrics were by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The song is already trending on #14 position on Youtube India.
Roohi is going to be the first big release ever since the theatres were permitted to run at 100% capacity. It is releasing on 11 March 2021.
