As we dive into the month of April, several exclusive content like films and series have been announced that will be streaming on OTT platforms. There has been a high demand for projects on digital platforms ever since the pandemic took over the world in 2020. As the nation is sensing a rise in COVID-19 cases once again, people are falling back to binging stuff on streaming services again.
Bollywood Dhamaka brings you the digital lineup for films and web series for April 2021.
1. Hello Charlie (Amazon Prime)
This is going to be a quirky comedy starring Aadar Jain in the lead role with none other than a gorilla! It is going to be a family entertainer with a comedy of error situation. ‘Hello Charlie’ will also mark the debut of actress Shloka Pandit and will star Jackie Shroff, Rajpal Yadav Elnaaz Norouzi in key roles. It premieres on 9 April 2021.
2. Call Your Mother (Sony LIV)
This sitcom will premier on Sony LIV and is all about a mother (played by Kyra Sedgwick) suffering from ‘Empty Nest Syndrome’ she decides to take the matter into her own hands in order to stay close to her children. The show will also star Joey Bragg, Rachel Sennott, Austin Crute and so on. Call Your Mother will premiere on SONY LIV from 30 April 2021.
3. Raat Baaki Hai (Zee 5)

Raat Baaki Hai is going to be an upcoming murder mystery movie with an ensemble cast of Paoli Dam, Anup Soni, Sameer Malhotra, Karan Ashar, Aakash Dahiya, Rahul Dev and so on. It will depict the story of a couple stuck in a troubled marriage. The film will premier on Zee 5 from 16 April 2021.
4. The Big Bull (Disney+ Hotstar)
The Bigg Bull starring Abhishek Bachchan and Ileana D’Cruz in the lead role is going to be a crime drama centred on the life of Harshad Mehta, a stockbroker who was involved in committing the biggest financial crime within the nation that shed light on loopholes in Inia’s banking system. It will start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 8 April 2021.
5. Ajeeb Daastaans (Netflix)
This is Karan Johar’s 3rd anthology series to be featured on Netflix. It will depict 4 unique stories helmed by noted filmmakers like Shashank Khaitan, Raj Mehta, Neeraj Ghaywan and Kayoze Irani. The film will also have a stellar cast featuring Jaideep Ahlawat, Armaan Ralhan, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Abhishek Banerjee, Konkana Sen Sharma, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shefali Shah and Manav Kaul. Ajeeb Daastaans will begin premiering on Netflix from 16 April 2021.
