Vivek Oberoi’s most loved role till date continues to remain his portrayal of Manya Surve in Shootout at Lokhandwala and the actor now is all set to reinvent himself with a biopic on a UP gangster.
Sources reveal that Vivek has been offered the titular role of a biopic based on a infamous UP gangster. It is a real life story based on a gangster of the early 80’s . Vivek has read the script and has liked it but will give his final nod once he is back from Ahmadabad.
Says a source, “Vivek is currently out of the city for a personal commitment but will return and finally give his nod to the film . The film is based on a gangster from the early 80’s who terrorized UP and Vivek seemed to the ideal fit, as audiences loved him essaying the role of a gangster in Shootout at Lokhandwala. Apart from this,the role and his look in the film will take audiences by surprise”.
