Mumbai: Vivek Oberoi who is currently shooting for Grand Masti is taking time out of his schedule to help promote Marathi film, Sandook.
Sandook is a satirical comic thriller set in pre independence era in a small town. As the film approaches its release date, the makers approached Vivek to support the film and attend a special press conference as they wanted a commercial face to push the film in its last leg of promotions.
Vivek who had also promoted Riteish Deshmukh’s Marathi film,Balak Palak,readily agreed and worked around his day to make time for the promotional activity of Sandook ,since he wants to promote regional cinema in the country in a big way.
Says Vivek Oberoi, ” I’m really happy with the kind of numbers Marathi films are drawing in. It’s great news for the Hindi film industry and I hope to support Marathi cinema in whatever way I can”.
