Mumbai: After a successful first run, the combination of Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are back with yet another exciting film. Dharma Productions’ upcoming film, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, releasing 11th July, has already set its bar with an entertaining theatrical trailer.
And the makers of film are now set to release their 1st song, Saturday Saturday. It’s a relaunch of a Bhangra pop, super hit track. The song shows Varun rapping about Alia’s Saturday party habits. Shot on a monstrous budget, the song is a perfect mix of fun lyrics, hit music and catchy dance steps! The set is a larger than life recreation of the roman colosseum with roman statues, tanks & Mongolian warriors, the visuals are as ‘blockbuster’ as it gets. Varun and Alia take center-stage amongst 200 background dancers in this club-anthem that pushes the envelope of Bollywood standards of partying. True to every typical KJo dance number, the song is all style, all sizzle and most importantly, a celebration.
The song has been choreographed by Ahmed Khan and has been shot in 3 days. Gushing about the adorable chemistry of his protégés and this latest chartbuster, a proud KJo says, “Saturday Saturday is a song that makes you head straight to the dance floor!
