The zombie apocalypse genre is a well established one all over the world. It turns out that the Telugu cinema is also venturing into the genre and coming out with its first Zombie feature titled ‘Zombie Reddy’. The trailer for it was also released recently and it looks like the film will run high on lots of cool action, comedy and some scares!
The trailer starts off with Prime Minister Narendra Modi making an announcement about the COVID-19 pandemic spreading in India, which establishes the fact that the film will be based in a post-COVID-19 era. Soon it is followed by a zombie invasion and lots of people are shown falling prey to these monstrous creatures who crave human flesh.

Teja Sajja is the lead in the film along with other crucial characters being played by Anandhi, Daksha Nagarkar and Raghu Babu. It has been directed by Prasanth Varma and will be hitting the theatres on 14 January 2020, during the time of Sankranthi.
