‘Thappad’ director Anubhav Sinha declares to quit Bollywood on Twitter

The ‘Article 15’ director retweeted one of Sudhir Mishra’s tweets which explained how Bollywood differs from independent filmmaking.

Known for directing renowned films like ‘Mulk’, ‘Article 15’ and ‘Thappad’, filmmaker Anubhav Sinha posed a series of tweets on Twitter in order to announce that he is resigning from Bollywood. Apart from this, he also added ‘(Not Bollywood)’ next to his name in his official account.

In the series of tweets, the director expressed that he has had enough and wants to call quits from Bollywood

He also shared a screenshot of his account in one of his tweets which distinctly featured that he added the words ‘Not Bollywood’ next to his name.

He later on also made tweets to explain himself further:

After his tweets about resining from Bollywood, many fans were alarmed and thought he is quitting the industry. The filmmaker tweeted recently and explained that he shall focus towards making movies while changing his logistics. He also mentioned that he will tell more about this in the future.
