The Billboard Music Awards 2021 will be conducted this month and everyone is extremely excited for them. After announcing the nominations, Billboard also revealed that popular singing diva Pink will be receiving the ‘Billboard Icon Award’. She is also going to be the youngest recipient of the award at age 41.
The award is given to the artists who have had a significant impact on the Billboard charts and their outstanding contribution to the field of music. The last 3 albums released by Pink i.e. Hurts 2B Human (2019), Beautiful Trauma (2017), and The Truth About Love (2012) have all entered the Billboard 200 chart anf bagged the #1 position.
Pink shared the news on her Twitter handle while saying she feels ‘humbled’ to be getting the honour. Her tweet mentioned, “I feel so humbled to be receiving the ICON Award at the @BBMAs
and can’t wait to perform! Sunday, May 23 at 8pm ET/5pm PT on NBC. #BBMAs #IconPINK ”

Pink will also be releasing a new album this year titled ‘All I Know So Far’ containing live versions of her previous iconic songs and the title track for the same will be released on 7 May 2021.
Billboard Music Awards 2021 will be held on 23 May 2021 and Nick Jonas is hosting the ceremony.
