Recently announced espionage thriller Mission Majnu has begun shoot from today. The film will star Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles and is going to be later’s Bollywood debut too. Both of them marked the day by sharing a picture of themselves in their character’s clothes with the script of the film in their hand.
Hero of the film Sidharth was the one who shared the picture on his Twitter handle and wrote, “A special one with a special team. #MissionMajnu, day 1” The cast and crew of Mission Majnu are in Lucknow to shoot the film.

Directed by Shantanu Bagchi, Mission Majnu is being produced by RSVP Movies and GBA Media. It is inspired by real-life incidents and will be set during the 70s era focusing on India’s deadliest covert operation during the Indo-Pak war and how it affected the relation between both these neighbouring countries.
