Mumbai: Approximately 100 girls from the girls’ orphanage / NGO supporting the girl child were invited for the event. The girls watched the movie along with the BJP Leaders and post the screening there was a cake cutting ceremony supporting the cause.
The Guest list included Smt. Vijaya Rahatkar (BJP National President – Mahila Manch), Shri Tarun Chugh (National Secretary – BJP), Smt. Shaina N.C (BJP Spokesperson). Shri Prakash Bhai Mehta (Minister for housing , chemicals and fertilizers)

Sensing this concern, Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji had launched “Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao” on 21 Jan’ 2015 in Panipath, Haryana. Though the message “Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao” is trending on social and print media through news and advertisements however, since cinema is a showcase of realistic society, it plays a key role to deliver messages both in rural and urban India.
Under the aegis of the same “Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao” call given by our honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji, ….”Run Bhuumi…champs don’t cryy”. Is a Humble Attempt, releasing on 30th October.
