Actor Sumeet Vyas had ventured into the entertainment business since 2006 when he first appeared in the show ‘Kasamh Se’. However, it was 6 years later i.e. in 2012 that he received praise and recognition for Gauri Shinde’s film English Vinglish alongside the legendary actress Sridevi.

He is known for his impeccable coming timing and his role as Mikesh Chaudhary in TVF’s original web series Permanent Roommates garnered him lots of fans and attention. Later, the fans were even more surprised and extremely happy to see him work alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan in the film Veere Di Wedding.

Although he is known for his comical roles, he can pull off serious and intense roles as well. So here are the top web series of actor Sumeet Vyas that made us appreciate him even more:

1. Permanent Roommates

This show had to be on our list. TVF’s original show was a glimpse into how modern-day relationships work these days with a lot of rib-ticking moments. People loved seeing the over-enthusiastic Mikesh Chaudhary (played by Sumeet) and his chemistry with a bit stubborn but grounded Tanya Nagpal (played by Nidhi Singh) as they decide to move in together.

2. RejectX

The coming of age show is like no other. Rather than being vibrant and joyous, the show deals with intense topics that youth goes through like gender identity, body shaming, drug abuse and so on. Sumeet Vyas starred in the show as a principal of an international school, looking out for his students.

3. It’s Not That Simple (Season 2)

Although the story is centred around Swara Bhasker, it was quite refreshing to see Sumeet play a significant role in the series posing as a strong, influential antagonist.

4.  TVF Tripling

The show is co-written by Sumeet Vyas as well. It follows the lives of three siblings from various lows in their life. Things begin to change when they plan to go on a fun road trip.

5. The Verdict – State vs Nanavati

This has to be one of the most serious roles the actor has played yet. The show is based on the judiciary case from 1959 where Vyas has portrayed the role of a young Ram Jethmalani as he represented the prosecution in the abovementioned case.
