Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal had flown to Egypt to be part of the El Gouna Film Festival recently. After attending the event, the couple took some time out for sightseeing and explored the beautiful country of Egypt. They posted several pictures of the beautiful pyramids while also expressing how much fun they’re having in the company of one another.
Ali Fazal shared a picture of the duo in front of one of the pyramids while saying he wanted the most touristy photos and also flaunted his poetry. His caption said, “We did it. Just in time for the pyramids. I specifically told the guy to take the most touristy photos imaginable. Jaisa taj mahal pe lete hain sab log???. @therichachadha .. display nahi izhaar hai. Baaki sab bekaar hai. Yahi toh hai saathi. Iss mohabbat mein hum laachaar hain. Poetry sasti hai.. lekin dil se fankaar hain.Love from Misr (another name for Egypt)”
Richa, on the other hand, was in awe of the beautiful structures which are centuries old and dedicated a post specifically for them where she mentioned, “There’s something humbling about being in the presence of a magnificent structure that’s the oldest thing you’ve seen… thousands of years ago, millions of people built this on instructions of their kings, in one of the oldest cities of the world… wish to visit Harappa someday. This one was on the bucket list….”
On her other post, she explained how Guddu Bhaiya (Ali’s character from the popular web series Mirzapur) is the most amazing travel partner one could ever have. She revealed, “If you think Guddu is all about guns, he’s got you fooled…. he’s the best travel partner … always up for adventure, an easy smiler, easy on the eyes too, tries new food, carries the world in his backpack (bandaids, water bottles, sanitizer et al)… he can go from lonely-planet type travel to the lap of luxury in seconds and is at home in both scenarios… how perfect does one need to be?!”
Ali and Richa have a relationship spanning 5 years almost. They also got engaged during 2020 and were set to tie the knot in April but the plans had to be postponed owing to the unexpected pandemic and lockdown protocols during the spread of COVID-19.
