Noted filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma shared a major announcement through his social media handle and revealed that he is launching his very own streaming platform called ‘Spark OTT’. He will be making an entry into digital space with the release of the film ‘D Company’ under his OTT platform.
The director made the announcement while sharing a video on Youtube where esteemed stars like Prabhas, Prakash Raj, and visionary filmmaker SS Rajamouli were seen congratulating him and wished him luck. His tweet said, “Thanking all the well-wishers of SPARK OTT Streaming from May 15th with D COMPANY FILM”

Ram Gopal Varma’s upcoming film ‘D Company’ is based on the life of Dawood Ibrahim and will capture his journey from 1980 to 1982. Originally meant to release in theatres around March 2021, it will now be streaming on Spark OTT.
D Company will be available online from 15 May 2021 in Tamil and Telugu on Spark OTT.
