MUMBAI: Raja Natwarlal aka Emraan Hashmi was caught on Saturday conning people as he sold Kick tickets at a suburban theatre in Bandra.
Hashmi, who was dressed in a ‘tapori’ attire, drew a few shocked gasps and curious glances as he sold invalid Kick tickets.
Hashmi’s con was simple. He handed over tickets for the 9pm show but in actual the tickets were for the 6pm show!! Its only when the people made their way to the theatre they realised thay had been handed tickets of the show gone by.
Later Hashmi made up for his con by giving his ‘victims’ the actual 9 pm show tickets !!
A source said, “Hitman Hashmi who is known as a hero of the masses visited Gaiety to give his fans a surprise. Many of the patrons waiting outside the theatre initially could not believe that Emraan was selling tickets and soon, the actor was thronged by a few who wanted to buy tickets from him.”
UTV Motion Pictures’ Raja Natwarlal starring Emraan Hashmi, Humaima Malick, Paresh Rawal and Kay Kay Menon is scheduled to release August 29th 2014.
