Mumbai: Over the years, the prestigious Cannes Film Festival has established itself as not just the Mecca of movies but one of the most carefully scrutinized red carpets as well. Talented filmmakers flock to the Cannes Film Festival in the south of France each year, hoping their masterpiece wins the covered Palme d’Or prize. Director Kristian Levring’s “The Salvation” film that stars Mads Mikkelsen, Eva Green, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The historical drama premiered out of competition in the Midnight slate and obtained rave reviews.
