The poster of the short film The Affair has been released. The Affair is
presented by Drishyam Films and A Bhaand-A- Part production. It is written and directed by Hardik
Mehta, who is an independent filmmaker from India and has contributed significantly to the fiction
as well as documentary genre.
Mehta film, ‘Amdavad Ma Famous’ was one of the most awarded films of 2016. It had bagged
National Film Award (Golden Lotus) for Best Non-Feature Film, India (2015). The film was also
invited by the French Academy of Cinema for a European panorama where it got screened along
with 30 best short films from around the world in nine European capital cities.
Affair stars Amit Sial, Khushboo Upadhyay and Mahi Sadhwani. It is a sweet story of how a man and
a women meet in a city of billion people. They turn their backs to the city and let the sea be witness
to their relationship. But this affair can only last for a few minutes, since back at their homes
someone waits for them.
