As the world celebrates Eid today, actor Nivin Pauly used his social media to unveil the teaser of his upcoming film ‘Thuramukham’. It is going to be a political drama. Fans were ecstatic at the surprise and the first look of the film got an incredible response. The film is going to be an adaptation of a play by the same name written by KN Chidambaram.
The film is going to capture the time when the ‘Chappa’ system got introduced and was initiated in Marransherry harbour situated in Kochi and how workers struggled with it. It was a flawed system containing bias when it came to employers getting work assigned to them by their employers. Thuramukham is going to be set amidst the backdrop of 1923-1957.

Directed by Rajeev Ravi, the film also contains actors like Sudev Nair, Manikandan R Achari, Senthil Krishna and Shiva Raaj in key roles. No new release date has been announced yet.
