Vijay Sethupathi took everyone by surprise by revealing that he will be starring in a new film titled ‘Viduthalai’. National Award winner Vetri Maaran is directing the film and actor Soori who is known for his comical roles will be essaying the lead role in it. Apart from revealing Vijay Sethupathi to be the newest member of the film, the title was also revealed today.
Vijay Sethupathi took his Twitter to handle to share the first look of the film and mentioned, “Here it is @VetriMaaran’s #Viduthalai first look posters.” As per some reports, Vijay will be playing the role of a mentor to Soori’s character.

As per the updates, the film got shot in Sathyamangalam forests.
Viduthalai is going to be a pan-Indian film and will release in multiple languages like Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam apart from being shot in Tamil originally.
