Kushan Nandy’s Babumoshai Bandookbaaz headlined by Nawazuddin Siddiqui opened to an encouraging response at the box office. The film is witnessing a steady growth and is holding strong in theatres despite other releases.
Not only did the gripping drama recover its investment but also made a considerable profit at the box office and all this just within 3 days.
Made within a humble budget of Rs 5 crores, inclusive of P & A, the movie has raked in Rs 7. 53 crores at the box office over the weekend.
Thanking his fans on his social networking site, Nawazuddin tweeted, “People are talking abt d budget of #BabumoshaiBandookbaaz, yes it’s a 5Cr film including P&A but for me it’s an art of cinema regardless of budget. Thank you so much for making a small budget film hit.”
