Megastar from the world of Malayalam cinema, Mohanlal took to his Twitter handle to reveal that he recently shot with Oscar awardee AR Rahman. On his social media, he shared a picture from a set where he was posing with the music maestro and filmmaker B. Unnikrishnan.
In the tweet included with the post, Mohanlal mentioned, “A rare and remarkable shoot with the Music Maestro @arrahman for #Aaraattu. @unnikrishnanb ”

As per the rumour mills, AR Rahman shot for a cameo in the upcoming film ‘Aaraattu’ with the star. Many are of the view that he will feature in a song from the movie.
It has been 30 years since AR Rahman composed something for the Malayalam entertainment industry. Fans are extremely glad to see him make a comeback.
Mohanlal’s Aaraattu will also star s Sangeeth Sivan, Nedumudi Venu, Sai Kumar, Siddique, Vijayaraghavan, Indrans, Johny Antony, Sheela, Rachana Narayanankutty and Swastika in key roles. It is releasing on 12 April 2021.
