One of the rare gems from India’s music industry, AR Rahman just dropped a new video that featured a rooftop concert. He collaborated with the musical cast of his recently produced film ’99 Songs’ that he also co-wrote. It featured a medley of all his memorable tracks!
Some of the legendary songs featured in the concert were, ‘Veere Kadh De’, ‘O Aashiqa’, ‘Rang De Basanti’ and ‘Balleilakka’. As he shared the video, the noted composer had a sweet message for all the fans who are going through these testing times. His post said, “Hope. All of us have come together to lighten your mood. So don’t lose hope, there is still beauty in this world. Enjoy this.”

The description of the video also revealed that everyone in the video got together in Chennai and shot it during the time of dawn i.e. early sunrise. It mentioned, “As the sun rises in Chennai, A.R. Rahman signals a new dawn with the musical cast of 99 Songs.”
