Oscar nominated film Minari is coming to Amazon Prime Video!

Minari was based on an immigrant Korean family residing in Arkansas in the 1980s.

The critically renowned movie Minari will soon be releasing digitally on Amazon Prime Video. Directed by Lee Isaac Chung, the film was based on an immigrant Korean family residing in Arkansas in the 1980s, trying to realize their American dream.

The film starred Steven Yeun, Han Ye-ri, Alan Kim, Noel Kate Cho, and Will Patton in lead roles. Actress, Yuh-jung Youn also won the Oscar this year in the category of ‘Best Supporting Actress’ for her performance in Minari. Steven Yeun also became the first Asian-American and first person of East Asian descent to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor.

The film also got recognised in several other award ceremonies like the Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild Award, and British Academy Film Awards.

The film was also released theatrically in India on 9 April 2021.

Minari will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 11 May 2021.
