Madhuri Dixit is all praises for internationally recognised short film ‘Bittu’

Popular dancing diva from Bollywood Madhuri Dixit through her social media was all praises for a short film titled Bittu. The film has already been felicitated at the 47th Student Academy Awards and is also a potential contender at the 2021 Oscars.

On her Twitter handle, Madhuri Dixit mentioned, “More power to

‘Bittu’ is the part of  ‘Indian Women Rising’, which is a cinema collective started by Ekta Kapoor, Tahira Kashyap Khurrana and Guneet Monga. It is an initiative to promote female content creators of Indian origin all over the world.

Directed by Karishma Dev Dube, ‘Bittu’ is a film centring around a little 8-year-old girl who attempts to do something major by herself when her entire community turns their back on to the matter. It is inspired by the 2013 school poisoning incident.
