Mumbai: Karan Johar launched the trailer of Kunal Kohli’s upcoming romantic drama, Phir Se on his Twitter handle today.
Not many know that Karan Johar and Kunal Kohli go back a long way and have been friends ever since they assisted Aditya Chopra on films made under Yash Raj Films banner. Kunal, who’s making his acting debut with his upcoming romantic drama Phir Se, is quite excited about the project also starring Jennifer Winget as his costar. Accordingly, the excited actor Kunal has been showing glimpses of his upcoming movie to his industry friends like Aamir Khan and Karan Johar among others.
When Karan saw the trailer of Phir Se, he was quite amazed to see Kunal’s histrionics as an actor. And he came up with the idea to launch the movie trailer on his Twitter account. “Kunal is looking dapper in the film and after looking at the rushes, I’m sure Kunal must have done a fabulous job as an actor. I’m looking forward to see Phir Se,” says Karan.
Kunal excitedly says, “I’m very grateful to Karan since he’s launched my movie’s trailer. He liked my look and from whatever he has seen, he thinks I’m quite promising. I couldn’t have asked for more.”
