Irrfan Khan’s son, Babil writes a heartfelt note for Sanjay Dutt

Both Sanjay Dutt and Irrfan Khan had previously worked in films like ‘D-Day’ (2013) and ‘Knock Out’ (2010).

As the entire nation, as well as the entertainment industry, is praying for a speedy recovery for Sanjay Dutt as he was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, Babil Khan, who is Irrfan Khan’s son took to Instagram to share his heartfelt words for everyone’s beloved Sanju Baba.

On his recent Instagram post, Babil posted a candid picture of his father sitting alongside Sanjay Dutt as they are seen conversing. He started off by mentioning how media should stop speculating about the actor and to give Dutt family their privacy, “I humbly request journalists and human curiosity to ease on the speculation, the details. I know that’s your job but I also know that a sense of humanity persists in our soul, so give Sanju Bhai and his family the existential space they need.”

He also revealed something which was unknown to everyone. Babil said that Sanjay came through and provided support in whichever way possible during the days when his father, legendary icon Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine tumour and also after his unexpected demise. He added, “Here’s a secret; Sanju Bhai was one of the first people to offer help in all and every way when my father was diagnosed after Baba passed, Sanju Bhai was again one of the very first few people that held a pillar for support.”

Babil again urged the media houses to respect Dutt family’s privacy and praised the actor for being a glorious fighter, “Please; I beg you, let him fight this without the anxiety of media, you must remember we’re talking bout Sanju baba here, he is a tiger, a fighter, the past doesn’t define you but it sure does evolve you and I know this will be over with Sanju Baba smashing hits again.”
