Mumbai : After the riveting success of Oh My God! which went on to become the sleeper hit of 2011, director Umesh Shukla is back with his socially relevant ,yet thoroughly entertaining next , All is Well starring Abhishek Bachchan, Asin, Rishi Kapoor & Supriya Pathak.

What is All is Well about?
All is Well is a story where an entire family is on the run, being chased by goons. It’s a dysfunctional family; everyone has their own set of issues with each other – waiting to be confronted. The journey acts as a catalyst for them to confront each other and their issues. They fight with each other, they understand each other’s point of views, they get to know things about each other that they never knew. It’s a journey of fun, realization, values and confusion where happiness does prevail .

Director’s Note : Umesh Shukla
OMG had a universal subject, that of God and faith. Similarly, ‘All is Well’ tackles the theme of families and the complexities we have in them. I wanted a universal subject, one which will connect with people across all generations. All is Well addresses the generation gap and the situations and dialogues in the film will be relatable .
Abhishek is playing a modern day version of Shravan Kumar (a mythological character in Ramayana known for his devotion to his parents). He plays a son who gets troubled watching his parents fight and yet is very devoted to them. His character has to balance both, his parents and his personal life.
All is Well will raise several questions – audiences will come out asking Have I been a good father or Am I a good son? …

Producers Notes: Bhushan Kumar & Varun Bajaj.

Bhushan Kumar :
All is Well has a universal subject and especially in a country like India always has relevance where bonds and relationships are cherished. We are proud to have been part of this film’s journey with a talented starcast and the captain of the ship ,Umesh Shukla, who understands the pulse of the India audience. It was also great collaborating with Varun and Shyam Bajaj on the film.  When two people have same vision, it becomes much easier during the making of the film.We have received a great response on the film’s music and hope audiences enjoy the film just as much.

Varun Bajaj :
Umeshji  met dad ( Shyam bajaj) during his first film DHOONDTE REH JAAONGEY 5-6 years ago and It’s been a very long association with him. Basically, Umesh Shukla signed on with us way before OMG! {OH MY GOD started}. We always wanted to do a film together and OMG! OH MY GOD happened in the interim for him and things took a positive turn for all of us. We had always decided to do a film, So we met Bhushan ji (Bhushan Kumar of T-Series) and Abhishek and everything fell in place. Family-driven subjects like All is Well are liked by all. There is no time or era or trend for such subjects. At any point of time, stories regarding families and relationship will always do well.
