Comedy king Priyadarshan is all set to shoot for a sequel in the ‘Hungama’ franchise. The cast and crew of the film, ‘Hungama 2’ are finally going to resume shoot after a long break owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. They landed in Manali for the movie to go into production. One of the leads from the film, superstar diva Shilpa Shetty took to her Instagram to share a picture.
The image uploaded by her featured her standing outside a plane with the other co-actors of her film like Paresh Rawal, Meezan Jaffery and Pranitha Subhash. Producer of the film, Ratan Jain also posed with them for the picture. They were dressed in casuals and clad in masks. The caption said, ” Covid test ✅

The original film, Hungama had hit the theatres in 2003 and ended up becoming everyone’s favourite family entertainer. It is still remembered for its rib-tickling comedy sequences, iconic characters and dialogues even after years of its release.
‘Hungama 2’ was initially supposed to release in the month of August but got delayed like the rest of the films within the Bollywood industry owing to the halt in the production process because of the coronavirus lockdown. No new release date has been announced officially yet.
