As 2020 turned out to be a disaster in many ways, some great things happened within this year as well. People became quite depended upon entertainment and artists and realised the crucial role they played during this pandemic to help people feel better in these dark times.
Social networking site, Twitter has been sharing many lists that defined the year 2020 and the people responsible for it. They recently released the list of top three most mentioned music artists on their website and Himanshi Khurana, Thaman S and Armaan Malik soared high in the category.

Himanshi Khurana rose to fame after her appearance in the last season of the popular television reality show, Bigg Boss. She starred in multiple music videos this year including ‘Khayaal Rakhya Kar’, ‘Kalla Sonha Nai’, ‘Dil Ko Maine Di Kasam’, ‘Afsos Karoge’ and so on.
Music composer Thaman S garnered loads of praise and attention because of his track ‘Butta Bomma’ that was the part of Allu Arjun’s film ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’. This also let to superstar Pawan Kalyan following him on his Twitter account.
Armaan Malik also had an eventful year as he debuted with his English language track ‘Control’. He also became the first singing sensation from India to feature in Time Square, New York on the Spotify billboard. He also got a lot of attention for singing a reprised edition of popular K-Pop band BTS’ song ‘Dynamite’.
