As veteran superstar, Amitabh Bachchan got released from the Nanavati Hospital after being tested negative for having coronavirus, Amul India released an advertisement.
Amul is known for it’s topical and inspiring ads that they come up with based on current events. Therefore, the actor thanked the organisation for their innovative ad.
The advertisement featured the Amul girl posing next to Amitabh Bachchan as it read ‘AB beats C!’.

Thanking the company on his Facebook page, the actor wrote, ” Thank you AMUL for continuously thinking of me in your unique poster campaigns ..

एक साधारण शक़्सियत को ‘अमूल्य’ बना दिया मुझे ! ?” (Amul has honoured me for years and made a common person like me, invaluable).
As trolls have a tendency to figure out the negative aspects in most good things, one person accused Amitabh Bachchan of getting paid in return of this ad. He said, “Kam se kam muft mein toh amulya nahin bane honge… tay rakam li hogi. Saal-dar-saal badhi hogi .” (You must have reached the phase of being invaluable after a fair amount of money, which has probably increased year after year)
To which the superstar said, “Bahut badi galat faimi mein chal rahe hain aap, miyan. Jab sach na maloom ho toh aapne swachh mukh ko swachh rakhiye! Na to main Amul ko endorse karta hoon aur na kabhi kiya hain. Teer chalaane se pehle soch samajh lena chahiye, nahin toh woh aap pe hi aakar geerega, jaise ki ab hua hai. Teer ki jagah, jo muhawraa is vishaye par, woh kisi aur padaarth ka varnan karta hai. Meri sabhya parvarish ne mujhe us ka varnan karne se rok diya.” (You are under a wrong impression, sir. One must keep their mouths shut if they don’t know the truth behind something. Neither do I endorse Amul and have never done it. My good upbringing is preventing me from using some idiom I could have said.)
