1. Divyenndu Sharma as Munna Bhaiya (Mirzapur 2)

We were introduced to Munna Bhaiya back in 2018 in Mirzapur. He was featured in the second season of the hit Amazon Prime show once again this year. He probably has to be one of the very few bad guys people don’t hate and enjoy watching on screen. Apart from being extremely brutal as Munna, Divyenndu Sharma also has exceptional comic timing and this perfect blend of a hilarious crime lord became every fan’s favourite.
2. Jitendra Kumar as Abhishek Tripathi (Panchayat)

After making a smashing debut with Ayushmann Khurrana in the rom-com ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’, Jitendra Kumar was seen in the web series ‘Panchayat’ on Amazon Prime Video which proved that he has not forgotten his roots. He posed as an engineering graduate who becomes a part of a Panchayat as a secretary in a rural village in UP.
3. Isha Talwar as Madhuri Yadav Tripathi (Mirzapur 2)

Although Mirzapur recites the tale of the underbelly of UP, there were many pathbreaking moments in the show like strong female characters. Isha Talwar as Madhuri was one such character in the show who is not only fierce but always very sure of herself. Her chemistry with Munna Bhaiya (played by Divyenndu Sharma) was also appreciated in the show.
4. Jaideep Ahlawat as Hathiram Chaudhary (Paatal Lok)

Paatal Lok has to be one of the best shows of 2020. What made it so special, apart from a gripping plot was strong performances. Jaideep Ahlawat starred as the lead in the show as a down and out cop who ends up with an extremely important case about 4 suspects who are arrested for an attempted assassination of a journalist. Hathiram Chaudhary is raw and authentic with an amazing character arc.
5. Pratik Gandhi as Harshad Mehta (Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story)

Pratik Gandhi is exceptional as the lead in this web series about one of the biggest financial scams of India. His edition of Harshad Mehta is so charming and convincing that it keeps you glued to the screen till you finish the series in one go. Apart from the amazing storytelling and direction, Gandhi’s portrayal made the show better than ever.
6. Abhishek Banerjee as Hathoda Tyagii (Paatal Lok)

Abhishek Banerjee played the role of Hathoda Tyagi in the show, who doesn’t say much but his actions are as horrifying as much as his gaze. He is named so in the series as he is known for killing three students from his school with just a hammer and cracking open their skull. Banerjee is exceptional in this bone-chilling role that just made the show set a benchmark.
